Tobias Guldimann is the risk committee chair at Edmond de Rothschild. He is the former audit committee chair of Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt. Additionally, he is serving as the chair of the board of fedafin AG, Widnau, an independent Swiss Rating Agency.
Tobias studied economics at the University of Zurich and received a doctorate from the same university in 1989. He joined Credit Suisse’s internal audit department in 1986 before transferring to investment banking in 1990, where he had various positions in the sales and trading area. From 2004–2013 he has been a member of the executive board in the role of group CRO.
Tobias has been a member of the foundation board of the International Financial Risk Institute and member of the executive committee of IFRI from 2008–2013.
