Tim Flynn

Timothy P. Flynn was chair of KPMG International, a global professional services organization providing audit, tax and advisory services, from 27 until his retirement in 211. From 25 until 21, he served as chair and from 25 to 28 as chief executive officer of KPMG LLP in the US, the largest individual member firm of KPMG International. Before serving as chair and CEO of KPMG LLP in the US, Tim was vice chair, audit and risk advisory services, with operating responsibility for the audit, risk advisory and financial advisory services practices.

Tim has been a director of United Healthcare since 217, Alcoa Corporation since 216, and of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. since 212. He was a director of the Chubb Corporation from 213 until its acquisition in 216. He previously served as a trustee of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, a member of the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council and a director of the International Integrated Reporting Council.

Tim graduated from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, and is a member of the school’s board of trustees.
