Terrell Baptiste is Senior Manager, Regulatory Policy and Intelligence at Gilead Sciences, where he supports the Regulatory Policy and Intelligence function covering Gilead’s oncology products. Terrell has over 1 years’ experience across the regulatory and biotechnology sectors. Terrell began his professional career as a consultant in Washington, D.C., where he helped create a legal pathway for real-world evidence and aided biotechnology clients in navigating the implementation process. Next, he accepted a role at the Food and Drug Administration where he advanced expanding initiatives related to patient-focused drug development within the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.
Terrell also served as a founding member of the regulatory policy team at BioMarin, where, he also held commercial roles in market planning and access. Prior to Gilead, Terrell worked with biotechnology investors to help them understand the regulatory drug development landscape.
Terrell holds a Bachelor of Arts in multidisciplinary studies with a focus on business, economics and political science from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
