Suzanne Paquin Nimocks

Executive experience: Suzanne Paquin Nimocks has a decade of boardroom experience. She is a member of the board of directors for ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steel company based in Luxembourg, Owens Corning, a Fortune 5 building products company based in Toledo, Ohio, and Ovintiv (formerly Encana), a North American oil and natural gas exploration and production company based in Denver.

Suzanne is lead independent director for the Owens Corning board and chairs the nomination and governance committee and is the former chair of the finance committee. Suzanne chairs the corporate responsibility and governance committee for the Ovintiv Board. She is a former board member of Valaris plc (formerly EnscoRowan and Rowan Drilling Company) and for private equity backed Axip Energy Services. She formerly chaired the compensation committees for Valaris and Ovintiv and the health safety and environment committee for Rowan Drilling Company. She has led both the CEO succession planning process and the board refreshment process for multiple boards. Suzanne is a senior advisor to McKinsey & Company.

Suzanne retired in July 21 as a senior partner in McKinsey & Company’s Houston Office. Since joining the firm in 1989, she served clients in energy, logistics, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, and professional services industries on a broad range of strategy, corporate finance, business building, portfolio management, operations, organization, and risk management-related issues. She served as Houston office managing partner, several practice leadership roles, and on most of the firm’s global personnel committees.

Suzanne is a trustee for Texas Children’s Hospital and is immediate past chair of the Houston Zoo Board. She serves on the advisory board for Advancing Women Executives in Energy and is a former board member of the Greater Houston Partnership, the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast, and Saint John’s School.
