Executive Experience: Pat Gross is chairman of The Lovell Group, a private technology investment and advisory firm. From 197-21, he was founder and principal executive office of American Management Systems, Inc. (AMS). AMS was a billion-dollar consulting, enterprise software and IT services firm which he founded with four colleagues in 197. Prior to founding AMS, he worked on the staff of the Secretary of Defense in the Office of Systems Analysis. Earlier, he worked at the General Electric Company.

Additional information: Pat is also a board member/advisor to a number of technology-based private companies, among them Motista, Inc., buySAFE, Inc., Virtru, Inc., and LiveSafe,Inc.

Pat became a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development (CED) in 1997. He currently serves a member of CED which is now part of The Conference Board.

Pat’s other leadership positions include co-founder and former chairman of the World Affairs Council of Washington, DC, former chairman of the Hitachi Foundation, former vice chairman of the Council for Excellence in Government, former vice chairman of the Intergovernmental Technology Leadership Consortium, former vice chairman of the Georgetown University Hospital. He is an active board member of the Aspen Institute, DC Preparatory Academy charter school, Jamestown Foundation, Foreign Policy Association, and the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.

Pat is an elected member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Washington Institute for International Affairs, International Institute for Strategic Studies, Federal City Council, and Economic Club of Washington.
