Patrick Day – March 17 finance function transformation

Patrick Day is currently the director of financial planning & analysis for FMC Corporation where he has FP&A responsibilities for the company’s consolidated financial results. Prior to this role he was the finance director for FMC’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa business with $1B USD in annual revenue and was based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His previous roles included leading finance transformation programs both as an internal leader and as an external consultant. Specific areas of focus include FP&A, business partnering, management reporting, finance operating model, shared services integration, change management, and the consolidation/closing process. Industry specific expertise is focused in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Prior work experience includes global assignments in the US, Europe, and Asia. 

Patrick holds a master’s in accounting and taxation from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a finance concentration from Elizabethtown College.
