Matthew Brewis

Matthew (Matt) Brewis was appointed Director of General Insurance and Conduct Specialists at the Financial Conduct Authority

In January 2020 following four years as head of the chief executive’s office, for three and a half years. Prior to that, Matt worked at the Bank of England for 15 years, most recently in Supervision at the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA). He also worked on the Bank’s response to the financial crisis and the transition of the PRA to the Bank.
