Executive Experience: Matt Fust is a board member and advisor to life sciences companies.
From 29 through 213, he was CFO of Onyx Pharmaceuticals, culminating in the company’s sale to Amgen. He previously served as CFO of Jazz Pharmaceuticals (23 – 28), CFO of Perlegen Sciences (22 – 23), and CFO of ALZA Corporation, where he was an executive from 1996 through the company’s acquisition by Johnson & Johnson in 21. Prior to joining ALZA, Matt was a manager in the healthcare strategy consulting practice at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
Matt serves on the boards and audit committees of Atara Biotherapeutics, BlackThorn Therapeutics, Crinetics Pharmaceuticals, Dermira, MacroGenics, and Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical. He also advises life sciences companies on corporate strategy and finance topics.
