Marcus Wilkes

Marcus Wilkes is currently serving as Senior Director of Market Access at Arena Pharmaceuticals. His responsibilities include creating and developing innovative global market access strategies so that in the future the right providers and patients will have access to Arena’s pipeline of products. This includes serving as the payer engagement lead conducting both primary and secondary research for all of Arena’s programs and products over the last few years. 

Prior to joining Arena, Marcus spent 4 years working as a pricing and market access consultant for Insight Strategy Advisors and Precision for Value in New York City. As a consultant he was able to work on 4 different engagements with 14 different pharmaceutical and biotech companies across a wide variety of therapeutic areas.

Marcus earned his Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Brigham Young University and his PhD in pharmacology from Cornell University.
