Lizabeth Zlatkus

Lizabeth H. Zlatkus is a seasoned board director, currently serving on the boards of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, Pathward Financial, and Brighthouse Financial.  She has served on three other public boards, one private board, and is also highly engaged in the non-profit community. She serves (ed) on audit, compensation, risk, finance, and nominating and governance committees, chairing several of them.

Liz spent 28 years at The Hartford Financial Services Group where she held a variety of senior level roles, including as chief financial officer and chief risk officer of the firm.  She also led many large divisions of the firm, including the international division, and served as co-president of Hartford Life Insurance Companies.

She is a member of the Connecticut Science Center trustee board, after recently serving as chair.  For over 20 years, she served as a member of the Penn State Business School board including as chair.

Liz graduated with distinction from The Pennsylvania State University in 1981, was selected as an alumni fellow in 2003, and served as the commencement speaker for the business school in 2013.
