Liz Hewitt is currently the audit committee chair of Novo Nordisk. She was first elected to the Novo Nordisk board in 212 and joined the audit committee in March 212. She is also a member of the board of Melrose Industries plc, UK and National Grid plc. Liz also serves as an external member of the House of Lords Commission, UK, where she also chairs the audit committee
Liz has in her executive career worked for Arthur Andersen, Gartmore Investment Management, UK, Citicorp Venture Capital (now CVC), 3i Group, and Smith & Nephew, UK. She is also a former member of the board of Savilis and Synergy Health.
Liz has a bachelor’s of science from University College in London, and qualified as a chartered accountant FCA in 1982.
