Kevin Parry is chair of Nationwide Building Society and Royal London Mutual Insurance Company Limited, the UK’s two largest mutual companies. He is also a non-executive director of Daily Mail & General Trust PLC, the media and information group of the Rothermere family.
His executive career was at KPMG, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. After being the managing partner for information, communications and entertainment at that firm, he became the CEO of a small cap management consulting firm for seven years before becoming the CFO at Schroders plc. He has held non-executive positions at Knight Frank LLP and three FTSE1 companies: Schroders plc, Standard Life Aberdeen plc and Intermediate Capital Group plc (where he became chair) and in the public sector, The Homes and Communities Agency (now Homes England, where he was chair).
