John Liver

John Liver is a non-executive director at Barclays Bank UK PLC, which serves UK retail customers and small businesses. He is a member of the board risk committee and board audit committee. A former UK regulator, his most recent role was as a partner at professional services firm EY, where, working with authorities and major institutions, he co-chaired the Global Financial Services Regulatory Network, and led European work on the post-crisis regulatory reform agenda and conduct regulation. He is a strategic advisor to fintech Kore Labs and a trustee of Rethink Mental Illness, a charity dedicated to supporting people severely affected by mental illness.
