Janet Truncale is vice chair and regional managing partner of the Americas financial services organization. A seasoned business leader, she oversees a diverse team of more than 14, professionals who are based in over 9 cities across the Americas. Janet works closely with EY’s clients to build a financial services industry in which financial institutions are trusted and flourish, customers’ financial goals are attainable, and the global economy is healthy, growing and secure.

With more than 28 years of extensive experience in the global financial services marketplace, Janet has established a reputation as a strategic operating executive and innovative leader. Throughout her career, she has provided assurance and advisory services to leading Fortune 5 companies and worked with boards, audit committees and senior management to resolve complex business issues.

Previously, Janet was assurance managing partner for the Americas FSO region where she had direct oversight of the financial performance and growth of EY’s financial services assurance business. She also served as banking and capital markets co-sector leader and initial public offering (IPO) leader.

Janet will become a member of EY’s Americas operating executive and US executive committee. She proudly serves on the board of directors for Women’s World Banking, a global nonprofit devoted to giving more low-income women access to the financial tools and resources they require to build security and prosperity. Her achievements have been recognized with industry accolades, including the Profiles in Diversity Journal Women Worth Watching award and the Crain’s New York Notable Women in accounting and consulting list.

Janet received her BSE from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and her MBA from Columbia University. She is a certified public accountant in New York and is a member of the AICPA.
