Drew joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management in 211, where he is responsible for corporate governance policy, proxy voting practices and global stewardship. In this capacity he provides support to portfolio managers across multiple investment groups within MSIM. Drew is chair of the MSIM proxy review committee and a member of the MSIM sustainability council. In addition, Drew is a member of the investor advisory group at SASB. Drew was vice president of State Street Global Advisors with the SSgA corporate governance and global proxy voting. His responsibilities included corporate governance research and analysis across domestic and global investment strategies. He was a member of the SSgA proxy review committee. He was also responsible for corporate governance policy development and implementation along with case-by-case analysis and decisions on governance and shareholder issues. Drew has worked in stewardship for the past 23 years. Prior to joining SSgA, he worked for the corporate governance group at Moody’s Investor Service and started his stewardship career at the Investor Responsibility Research Center. Drew graduated with a BA in economics from American University and earned his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
