Executive Experience: Debra Perry is a financial professional with broad executive and board level experience in corporate governance, risk oversight and financial analysis. She has served on the boards of six NYSE listed companies and two mutual fund complexes, chairing audit, risk, compensation, and governance committees.

Since 218, Debra has chaired the board of the Bernstein Funds, a mutual fund complex sponsored by AllianceBernstein. She also serves on the board of Assurant, Inc. (NYSE: AIZ), a Fortune 5 specialty property casualty insurance company where she chairs the finance & risk committee. In addition, she chairs the audit committee of Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY), the global leader in recruitment and talent management.

Prior to serving on public company boards, Debra was a senior executive at Moody’s, where she managed several ratings divisions and had primary responsibility for executing the spin-off of Moody’s from the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation and for building the public company infrastructure. Following the defaults of Enron and WorldCom, she led the recalibration of $3 trillion of corporate debt ratings and introduced numerous enhancements to Moody’s fundamental analysis, including a focus on the quality of issuers’ corporate governance and public financial reporting. Earlier in her career, she was an executive in fixed income research at First Boston in New York and in multinational lending and corporate finance at Chemical Bank in New York, Paris, and London. Debra also serves as a trustee of The Committee for Economic Development, the public policy arm of The Conference Board.
