Executive Experience: David S. Engelman served as a board director and chair of the audit committee of San Diego Private Bank. Previously, David served as a director of MGIC Investment Corporation and its principal operating subsidiary, Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Company. He served on the audit and risk management committees. David began his career at MGIC in 1962 and served as its executive vice president, COO, and director. David formerly served as chair, president/CEO of Union Federal Bank and interim president/CEO of Fleetwood Enterprises. Additionally, David was previously a member of other public company boards, including Fleetwood Enterprises, Quaker City Bancorp, Fieldstone Investment Corp., Union Federal Bancorp, and Commercial Federal Corp. David has been affiliated with many nonprofit organizations in California, including Habitat for Humanity, Neighborhood Housing Services, YoungLife, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Additional information: David received his bachelor of science in public administration from the University of Arizona in 196. For the past 38 years he and his wife Sherry have resided in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. They have four married children and nine grandchildren.
