Executive experience: Connie McDaniel retired from The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta in 213 after twenty-four years in a variety of finance roles including VP & chief of internal audit, VP & controller, and division finance manager roles in Thailand and Germany. She began her auditing and accounting career at EY in Atlanta, holding roles with increasing responsibility through audit senior manager.

Additional information: Connie is a member of the board of trustees and audit committee of Virtus Mutual Funds, a $4+ billion fixed income and equity mutual fund family based in Hartford, CT. She also served as a trustee and chair of the audit committee of Ridgeworth Funds, a $17+ billion fixed income and equity mutual fund family based in Atlanta, for over 1 years until their acquisition in 217.

In recognition of her leadership and management expertise, Connie was named to the ‘Top 1 Most Influential People in Finance’ by Treasury & Risk Magazine in 27, received the Service to Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business Award in 21, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from Georgia State University’s Alumni Association in 216.

She is a member of the board of advisors of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and formerly served on the board of trustees of the Shepherd Center Foundation, a leading rehabilitation hospital specializing in spinal cord and brain injury.  

Connie graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting from Georgia State University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1982. Connie and her husband live in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
