Executive Experience: Bala Iyer has served on public company boards since 2001 and currently serves on the board of Power Integrations. He previously served on the board of Churchill Capital, Clarivate plc, Conexant Systems, IHS Markit, Life Technologies, Overture Services, QLogic, and Skyworks.
As a board member, Bala has overseen more than 100 acquisitions as well as divestitures valued at over $40 billion and has overseen over $10 billion in equity and debt financing and served on several pricing committees. He currently chairs the audit committee at Power Integrations. He previously chaired the risk committee at Clarivate plc and the audit committee at Skyworks Solutions. He has served on several nominating committees and has been chair of the committee at Skyworks Solutions and Life Technologies and has also served on compensation committees.
Bala has had a 22 year career with technology companies and served as CFO of Conexant Systems and VLSI Technologies.
Additional information: Bala has a BS in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MS in industrial engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
