Executive Experience: Arthur Anton served as chair of the board and chief executive officer of the Swagelok Company, Solon, Ohio (a fluid systems technologies company), from 217 until his retirement on December 31, 219. He previously served as president and chief executive officer from 24-217, president and chief operating officer from 21-24, executive vice president from 2-21, and chief financial officer from 1998-2 of Swagelok. Prior to joining Swagelok in 1998, Art was a partner of Ernst & Young LLP (a professional services organization). He is currently a director and chair of the audit committee of The Sherwin-Williams Company, Cleveland, Ohio (a paint coatings manufacturer), where he has served since 26. He also is lead director of Olympic Steel, Bedford Heights, Ohio (a steel processing and distribution company), where he has served since 29, and a director of University Hospitals Health System, Cleveland, Ohio (a large academic medical center), where he has served since 25 and became chair in 219.
