Anthony Sgammato

Anthony is a partner with Ernst & Young LLP’s Assurance practice and serves as the New Jersey office managing partner. In this role, he also serves as the executive sponsor of the EY New Jersey Diversity and Inclusiveness Council.

He has vast experience serving public and private clients in a broad range of industries, life sciences, food and beverage, energy, medical devices and diversified industrial products, and his technical knowledge includes public and private financings (equity and debt), accounting for business combinations, stock compensation and restructuring. He serves as the portfolio partner for all KKR portfolio companies.

He currently serves as the audit coordinating partner for Insmed Inc and Amneal Pharmaceuticals, as well as various private companies. Recent public clients for which he was the coordinating partner include PTC Therapeutics, Osmotica Pharmaceuticals (RVL Pharma), Amicus Therapeutics and Iveric Bio.  He also serves as the coordinating partner and concurring partner on several public and private companies.

For five years, Anthony served as co-director of the EY New Jersey Entrepreneur Of The Year program. He also spent three years in our National practice focusing on the execution of quality and risk management initiatives throughout North and South America and completed a rotation in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Support practice, where he focused on completing due diligence for both industry and private equity investors.

Anthony serves on the board of the New Jersey Salvation Army and the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. Anthony received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from The College of New Jersey and his Masters in Accountancy from the University of Virginia. Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York and New Jersey and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and New York Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSCPA).

Anthony resides in New Jersey with his wife, Coleen and two children, Lucie and Vincent.
