Executive Experience: Amy Miles is the former chair of the board and chief executive officer of a leading theatre exhibitor in the US, Regal Entertainment Group Inc. (NYSE: RGC). Regal Entertainment Group manages over 56 theaters with a diverse set of businesses including film entertainment and alternative programming, food and beverage, and location-based leisure entertainment. Amy is a transformative, innovative, collaborative, and results-oriented CEO with 2 years of experience pioneering industry firsts. She has significantly grown shareholder value through accretive acquisitions, fostering innovation, renovating the asset base, and capitalizing on organic growth opportunities in digital and mobile. Amy is recognized for her strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise.

During her tenure as CEO of Regal, she strategically positioned the company for long-term, sustained growth by driving operational efficiencies and reducing costs; investing in technology to enhance the customer experience; and building organizational capabilities to deliver and support continued growth. Her efforts resulted in Regal achieving total shareholder returns that doubled the S&P market index, and outperformed industry peers. In February 218, she led the sale of the organization to Cineworld Group Plc for $5.9B.

Before her role as CEO, Amy served as the executive vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer from 2 to 29. As EVP and CFO, she led the company through a complete financial restructuring including a change of ownership through a merger with multiple entertainment companies. She also directed a successful IPO of Regal in 22. She joined Regal Cinemas Inc. as senior vice president of finance in 1999, after working with Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers. While at Regal, she was one of only a few females in the theatrical exhibition to be included in the Women in Entertainment Power 1 List.

Additional information: Amy serves on several boards, both corporate and non-profit. She is a director on the Norfolk Southern Corporation board and serves as a member of audit, the executive, and nominating and governance committees. She is also a director of The Gap, Inc. and serves as a chair of the audit and member of the finance committee. Amy is a director of Amgen Inc. and serves as a member of both the audit and nominating and governance committees. She was appointed to the University of Tennessee board of trustees and also serves as a trustee for the Boys & Girls Club of Tennessee Valley and as a board member for ASM Global.
